Day 64

Wednesday in a daycamp is perhaps the hardest day. Everyone is more comfortable with each other and feel more welcome to share. It just stinks that all the share is how tired and agitated they are. I am also exhausted at this point and don't feel like doing anything.

Day 63

My brother attends a daycamp of his own in Coronado. He goes sailing all day. They leave his shoes and wheelchair on the beach. My daycamp was at the same beach near each other just for today. While he was away at sea I snuck over and got a picture of his shoes. I had to hide from him while we were there so that I didn't distract him and he would continue to listen to the camp counselors.

Day 62

After my first day of the first daycamp this summer, Paul took me to a padre game. When we were walking back to the car, these guys were playing some pretty good music. The guy in black, however, is not part of the band and the sax belongs to the player in red.

Day 61

We did tie dye and my sister had to go all out for her sarong. She wanted to make a tie dye heart and had to sew it. Yea, she can get pretty intense with her craft making, just check out our halloween costumes if you don't believe me.

Day 60

Went over my grandmother's house and ended up watching Stick It for the millionth time. Awesome!

Day 55

This is one of my most favorite times of the day. I will typically be half awake, but Paul comes when he gets off work to say good night before he heads home.

Day 54

A friend had a campout in her backyard. It was inevitable that someone would make a torch and I would become so inclined to make long exposure shots.

Day 53

Went to a friend's graduation party. It was great. Old drunk men and belly dancers. Could it get any better?

Day 52

A friend had done a snow globe photo which inspired me to try out this shot.

Day 51

Just saw the new Karate Kid film with Paul. I still think it should be called something like The Karate Kid: Remake in China. They even specifically state in the movie that they are not learning Karate. It was pretty good, heavily influenced by Will Smith. I think the kid was too young. Anyway I am beginning my movie rant and this is not the place to do it. Paul and I went to J-Street Marina for a few minutes and saw the sun setting; which is when I demanded he climb up on the post.

Day 48

I know I know. I have been lacking in my photos lately. I really need to channel my boredom into productive photos. Well, as you can see I haven't been out of the house much. We went grocery shopping today since my brother can't live on his video games as food.

Day 44

Paul and I went to Ra for sushi and ice cream. I would say the tempura ice cream is the best thing they have there. But the sushi is good to.

Day 40

So I left all my cameras over a friends house today. I feel like an absolute ditz, but thats what I get for letting my need for more sushi distract me when I was leaving. I was forced to take this photo with the camera on my computer just so I could get on in. My penguin pajamas rock.

Day 39

My family loves to play board games. Scrabble isn't my personal favorite mostly because I stink at it. If I could choose I would play Clue many times over. For some reason though no one wants to play my games. It feels like when I was a kid and everyone refused to play Pretty Pretty Princess with me for the hundredth time.

Day 38

I love National City. Even though this photo is technically not of National City, its pretty much still considered it. Especially when it looks more ghetto.

Day 37

Today was Paul's graduation. My goodness, it felt long, but it was worth it. We got Tommy's Chili afterwards, so it was awesome. Congratulations, Paul!

Day 36

Okay, okay, I have a wedding coming up and I want to make sure I look good, but I really can't help the occasional dessert (especially when they serve it with a saucer of hot fudge).

Day 35

Sometimes my brother counts coins to pass the time. He stacks all of them up: nickels, pennies, dimes, and quarters. He will look at each and every year the coin was made and if it is a year that someone he knows either was born or graduated, he will set it aside. My years are 1986 and 2004.
