Day 248

Paul's mom makes these things called Beeroks. They are basically biscuit or dumpling dough with ground beef and cabbage in the middle. They are pretty delicious.

Day 245

Paul's grandparents are great people. They fed us a lot. I love grandparents... they can get away with a lot.

Day 244

So the day after Christmas begins the Hmong New Year. There was a large festival in Frenso. This photograph is about a matchmaking tradition. The young boys and girl play catch as a means to find a mate. There was a huge crowd playing.

Day 243

Toward the end of our 6 hour drive to Fresno, we stopped at a tourist trap: Bravo Farms, home of the best American cheese... supposedly. There was very little cheese (none of which was made by Bravo Farms) but there were some interesting stuff to photograph.

I found fall in Chula Vista. It just comes during winter and in certain areas.

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Day 229

Laundry Laundry Laundry. I do like having a washer and dryer in the house so I don't have travel far with all the clothes. Part of me wishes we didn't have to wear clothes so that I wouldn't have to fold and iron so much. Then again, there are just some people you don't want to see naked.

Day 218

So the bright blue area in the sky is from a sign on the five freeway almost a mile away. Stupid sign.
